In a recent study at the University of Ottawa (via MTV) studying women’s motivations for having casual sex, they learned that women are likely to engage in no-strings-attached hook ups because, AND I QUOTE, they’re “horny,” “it feels good,” and/or their hook up partner’s “physical appearance turned me on.”

CAN YOU EVEN BELIEVE THAT? That women have like, the SAME EXACT motivations for doing the nasty as men? I mean, you’d think we were all the same species or something BUT THAT WOULD BE CRAZY.

The study’s conclusion was almost as shocking as their data:

According to the study, “[W]omen reported more physical motivations for casual sex and more emotional motivations for sex in a committed relationship.” The researchers also found no significant differences in sexual motivations between women of different sexual orientations.
