It’s most definitely HOT ! !
There’s nothing wrong with a woman wearing a string bikini if she has the shape for it.
I could see if she was standing around children or didn’t have the body. Then complaints would justified.
I would like to see a photo of the people who are against this outfit. Sounds like some self esteem issues are in play….
