Sex Makes You Smarter!
Speaking of smart people going at it, it turns out your sex life could affect your intelligence! That’s right… all that boot-knockin’ does more than giving you a dose of natural botox and helping you burn a few extra calories. It can also make you smarter!
Via Glamour:
According to new research, sexual activity can improve mental performance and improve memory function. Via a study looking at middle-aged rats (exactly what you want to associate with your sex life, I’m sure), those engaged in sex showed signs of improved cognitive functions.
Woo hoo! So what this study is saying is that all those days in college that I skipped school for a random hookup were totally fine and I was getting a perfectly good education that way, right? And when I slept through calculus every morning because I was tired from too much booty the night before – that was basically the SMARTER choice, yes?
Yeah. That’s what I thought. Put down the book, go get booty*. For your brain.
(* Just kidding. Read a book. It’s good for you.)

That was a ‘smiley face’ I copied and pasted onto the end of my precious comment, that seems to have been changed into a “?” For some odd reason.
Weird.

Ha, ha, ha… If that WERE true, then the imagined average I.Q. of people Online (by the horrid grammar seen on the vast majority of websites), sex must be a VERY RARE activity, indeed. But, it’s highly unlikely, being that so many people are apparently so very strongly attracted to people who’s physical appearance are normally at the polar-opposite end of the spectrum from their intelligence.
What I’m trying to convey here, is that the more ‘attractive’ one is, the less likely they are of being highly intelligent. Not because beauty MAKES one unintelligent, but because ‘attractiveness’ is so highly praised in our Western society, that those whom possesses certain traits are less likely to make a higher education a priority, being that they are given a ‘pass’ in many situations, based on their physical attributes.
I’m only basing this on personal experience and interactions with many people over the years. I’m no expert in any field that qualifies me to ‘know this with absolute certainty, but… I have very compelling circumstantial evidence to support my statement.
P.S. Notice, I’m only referring to many people whom I’ve actually encountered and engaged in conversations with and many other non-specific situations. OF COURSE, there’s ALWAYS exceptions to EVERY rule. I do not with to engage in any debates with anyone who feels that they are an exception to (or claims to know anyone who is an exception to) my hypothesis. ?
