Bruce and Kris Jenner Split
Reality television. It’s SO WEIRD. I mean, when you really think about it, other people are getting paid (HEFTILY) for going about their daily lives, not doing anything special in particular, and we are WATCHING THEM. For FUN. We’ve slammed the stars of various reality shows for a while, but deep down we realize that having a camera in your face all the time, even as a huge narcissist, must be taxing. And to maintain a relationship in front of producers who make more money the more you bicker and fight? IMPOSSIBLE – even for the Matriarch of Reality Families, Kris Jenner, who confirmed yesterday that she and husband of 22 years, Olympian Bruce Jenner, have split.
Via US Weekly:
“We are living apart,” she revealed to Us on Monday, Oct. 7. “But there is no animosity. We are united and committed to our family.”
Indeed, the talk show host, 57, and the former Olympian, 63, remain on good terms and have no plan to divorce at this time. “We ended a marriage, but that’s not the end of our friendship,” she told Us. “I will always love him, but we are no longer a couple in that way.”
“We are happier this way,” Kris told Us of the split, which she and her family kept secret for a year.
RadarOnline goes on to report that the couple currently have no plans to divorce, as they never created a pre-nup, and now the Kardashian brand is worth a staggering $125 million, a far cry from when Kris first married Bruce and HE was the wealthy breadwinner.
We’ll keep you updated if (and when) the claws start coming out. We don’t picture Bruce giving up his half of the fortune – how ELSE will he pay for his bi-weekly Botox?
