Every Tuesday, we share with you testimonials from members of OBC who have found booty, love, and sometimes even marriage! It’s always super fun (and sometimes funny) (and sometimes weird) to read what brought these couple together when all they were looking for was No-Strings-Attached fun. However, now that summer is over and cool air is creeping in and for some godawful reason Wal-Mart already has their Christmas decorations out, we’ve been seeing less people falling in l-o-v-e and more people just enjoying hooking up and having fun.

Obviously, this is totally awesome. It’s what we set out to do with OBC in the first place. However, we think it’s so interesting that during the colder months people aren’t settling down as much. Why, we wondered, would people stick to booty calls and hooking up instead of settling down at the end of the year? Is it because of the holidays?

We’d always assumed that people would get INTO relationships during the holidays, but a little research around the web shows that people actually tend to break up during Christmas time. Is it because people don’t want to buy gifts for each other? Or don’t want to do the whole meet-the-parents thing? Or is it because the stress of being around family for extended periods of time stresses people out and makes them want to be FREE?
