Happiness is Dancing At Bus Stops
There are few bad ideas as bad as eating from a taco shop for lunch. Unfortunately, because I’m a lazy piece of shit for a very legitimate reason I skipped making myself a salad and instead went to the closest cheapest food joint in the ‘hood: a Mexican food spot down the street which I have only ever been to after bars close, when it’s dark and I can’t see (nor care) that there is a POOL of grease dripping from the styrofoam my burrito came in.
Now, I’m sitting back at my computer leaving greasy marks on my laptop and wallowing in self-loathing and feeling about as awake as a sloth that got hit by a horse tranquilizer. I WISH I had any sort of energy to be chillin’ at a bus stop gettin’ my dance on like 35-year-old Ellie Cole of Hampshire in the UK. According to The Telegraph, a woman across the street noticed her jammin’ out, took a video, and uploaded it to YouTube, where it got tons of hits almost immediately.
Check out these moves (although I suggest putting it on mute and playing somethin’ like “Get Low”):
According to Gawker, her skillz have not gone unnoticed, and Cole (who is a former performing arts major) will appear in an upcoming musical Ah Men! YOU GO, GIRL. Send me some of that energy, will ya?
