So, I’ve basically given up on finding Hump Day Hotties at award shows. These chicks have the best make up artists and designers and stylists on their hands, and yet it seems like the majority of them go for the nastiest, most annoying outfits they can possibly muster. I mean, I get you need to stand out to mean anything in Hollywood, but can’t you stand out WHILST looking amazing? Like Selena Gomez, for example. Girl was turning heads, both in the “WTF is that dress” way AND the “hot DAMN I’d like a piece of that” kind of way.

However, our #1 Hump Day Hottie of the VMAs this year goes to model Melanie Iglesias, who I don’t really know anything about except that she once dated Vinny from The Jersey Shore, and that she can SERIOUSLY rock a deep-V dress:

Hell yes. While other stars took the meaningless award/fashion show to mean they could dress like Little Mermaids on meth, Melanie went classy with a handful (or two) of sexy and just a TOUCH of vampy weirdness. We love it all.
