Sydney Leathers Might Have Contracted HIV
So, remember that whole karma thing we talked about earlier this week? Well it appears as though the ugly beast may have decided to pay a visit to Miss Sydney Leathers, Queen of the Fame Whores (if you remember, she’s the one using her affair with a politician to get famous).
According to Gawker, during her most recent porn scene (NSFW, OBVS), she may have been exposed to HIV, because her co-star (freelancer Xander Corvus) recently filmed another scene with Cameron Bay, and adult star who just tested positive for the virus. In both scenes, Corvus did not use a condom.

In a statement to Gawker, Leathers said both she and Xander got tested prior to shooting their scene, and both were deemed “healthy.”
An additional test Leathers says she underwent in NYC after the shoot also came back negative.
It’s worth noting that negative test results within the first 3 months of exposure could be false, according to the CDC.
It takes the body an average of 25 days to produce antibodies against HIV, which means rapid tests may not be able to detect HIV in a person if conducted within the “window period” before a definitive result can be returned.
We imagine that right now, Miss Leathers is probably rocking back and forth in her bathtub, scrubbing her skin till she bleeds, and whispering “why did I have to be such a fame whore? WHYYYYYY.”
Or at least that’s what we hope.
