Oh PETA. PETA PETA PETA. What are we going to do with you? It’s never a good sign when a business (and let’s face it, PETA is just a business) has to resort to shock tactics to sell their product, and boy oh boy has PETA used some shock tactics (IE this, this, oh and don’t forget about this).

This new ad for PETA, though, might ACTUALLY be kind of sane:

I mean, being that I have a 12-year-old boy’s sense of humor, I think watching animals do the nasty is just as funny as the next sixth grader, obviously. However, the idea that vegans have a better sex life is an interesting one, and there are a few different studies that show a plant-based diet could give you a higher sex drive.

However, PETA was still off the mark in one way: those animals? In the video? That you’re saying have a “better” sex life? Yeah, they’re only doing it to make babies. Humans, on the other hand (who I might add are enjoying a delicious turkey bacon club at the moment), do it for, ahem, other reasons.

BUT NICE EFFORT AS ALWAYS PETA. Maybe channel some of that into not killing all the animals in your shelters.
