Happiness is… 106 Minutes of Sex a Day
In a month that has been chock full of blargh, we definitely needed a good pick-me-up this week. And while seeing Chris Hemsworth in his Thor get-up helped a bit (mmmm, those biceps), this little bit of sexy news put QUITE a smile on all of our faces.
According to a study from ScienceDaily, the reason a lot of us are finding ourselves sluggish, bored, and maybe even depressed, is because we are spending way too much time doing the things we don’t like, and not enough time doing what we love, i.e. having sex or hanging out with friends.
The study, performed by Sebastian Pokutta and Christian Kroll, “examined Americans’ time use and focuses on how daily activities affect happiness.”
Via Quartz:
Kroll and Pokutta plugged data from a Day Reconstruction Study conducted in 2004 into a utility function that corrects for overindulgence, and then optimized it for a 16-hour day.
The result? We should be doing more of what we like (having sex and hanging out with friends) and less of what we don’t (working and commuting) in relatively small chunks.
Yep, you read that right – if we want to be happier, we should be spending more time getting booty! This seems to agree with our report that some folks in the Midwest and South should be gettin’ down more often!
What do you think? Do you notice that you’re happier when you have more sex? What else in your life makes your day better?
Don't get any!!!

This is B.S. How can you have sex if no one wants to be with you. I haven’t had sex since 2010!!! I’ve been trying to meet someone for the last 3 years. I hate how the internet post a bunch of crap about sex this and sex that!!! It’s not that easy for some people (like me!) ONLINE BOOTYCALL doesn’t even work. I hate that internet has ruined everything! The internet dating sites are full of shit. No one is ever on and the girls lie all the damn time. I don’t like this article or dating sites!!! Dating sites are a waste of time and money.

It might not bring complete happiness and solve everything but it is always better to get it versus not getting it.
