Will Bynum Suspended For Tempter Tantrum
Every once in a while, EVERYONE loses their temper for a minute. Maybe your roommate left the oven on after making pizza rolls for the TWELFTH TIME. Or your neighbor parked in your spot and it’s 11pm after a 14 hour day at work and the nearest spot is eight blocks away in a shady part of the neighborhood. Or maybe everything was find until your stubbed your toe and that was all it took to make your blood boil and scream obscenities at no one in particular.
Basketball players lose their tempers too, like when they’re getting blown out by the Pacers by ten points. Such was the case Saturday night when Will Bynum, point guard for the Detroit Pistons, PUNCHED TYLER HANSBROUGH STRAIGHT IN THE GUT:
According to Bynum himself, “It wasn’t intentional, but it kind of happens throughout the course of the game. The game was kind of physical. It was during the heat of the moment.”
It’s totally understandable, of course, although still a huge bummer for the rest of his team.
Then again, clearly the punch did just the trick, because the Pistons still lost by 18 pointsOH WAIT NEVERMIND.
