Good morning, everyone! How’s your week going so far? Is it dragging, like mine? I swear, since my New Years Resolutions to drink less, exercise more, watch less TV, and be more productive kicked off, it’s like the world has slowed its spin to a sloth’s pace. I mean, it’s only Wednesday and it feels like 2015. Ugh.

When I spotted this video this morning with the title “Deaf Dog Feels the Blues,” I got really excited. Maybe I would get a little mood boost on a morning that feels like the beginning of a 72-hour-long day. Maybe a cute, heart-warming, and silly video was just the thing I needed to propel me through the rest of this god-forsaken week.

But then I watched the video, and I’m pretty sure this dog is just scratching his anal glands on the carpet.

I mean, sure, maybe he’s “Blues Scootin’ Bully,” but based on my lifelong experience with pet dogs, that right there is a tell tale sign your pup needs someone to reach in his a-hole and squeeze pus out of it, pus that smells worse than a bag of scrambled eggs left in a car with a dead body for the whole month of August in Arizona. Which is WAY less cute than a dancing dog, and has now put me in a worse mood than I was when I woke up.
