Hey, so, last Friday, huh? Just a whole day of misery. It went from TGIF! to holy mother of God what is happening to the world. And as we start a new week, just a week away from Christmas and only days away from the supposed end of the world, it’s important to be thankful for every moment of life that we are given. Even if you’re bummed cause you’re at work, or annoyed because your roommate hasn’t done the dishes in like, three weeks, or pissed off because your sister-in-law is demanding a vegan Christmas Eve dinner – none of it matters. As long as you’re alive and healthy and able to enjoy the company of friends and loved ones, there’s no reason to complain.

While it’s impossible to contemplate the reasoning behind such a heinous act like what happened at Sandy Hook Elementary, because the world is an unreasonable place, it’s okay to wish that precogs or superheroes really existed, who could use magic and fake science to solve crimes. SPEAKING OF… have you seen the new Man of Steel trailer? I’m the first to admit that superhero movies are getting totally out of hand these days, but this… this looks good. Now if only Superman really existed.
