Yoko Ono Covers Firework by Katy Perry
Recently I was reading in Time Magazine (impressive, I know) that Yoko Ono, widow of John Lennon, has a fashion line that could only be described as “confusing,” or perhaps “utterly terrible”, especially considering she attached John Lennon’s name to it BECAUSE SHE IS A HORRIBLE, EVIL, BEATLES-RUINING BITCH in a move that would certainly boost sales.
After reading that, I thought, man, Yoko Ono has sure lead a very successful life, creating fashion lines and avant-garde art and even music. I wonder if she would have been as successful if she hadn’t married John Lennon thus destroying the greatest band to ever grace the Earth and garnered the world’s attention. And then this morning, this video popped up, of Yoko Ono giving her “interpretation” of Katy Perry’s cheesy but inspiring Firework, the song she famously sang with an autistic girl a couple months ago, thus making everyone cry their faces off at work.
Hmm, I though. I should check this out, I thought. I wonder if she sounds as good as Katy Perry, I thought.
