I, BCU Girl, do solemnly swear not to bombard you with too many holiday-themed songs this month. I know I already got off to a bad start on this promise. I know you’ll be forced to listen to them if for some reason you decide to go to a mall because you hate yourself. I know that the holidays can be a stressful for many of us, because it’s cold and you’re tired all the time for some reason and you have too many family members to buy presents for, and money is tight and you wish you could just go to sleep until December 26th. I know that all Christmas music does is remind you that you still haven’t decided which of your divorced parents you’re going to spend Christmas Eve with, and you know whoever you DON’T choose is going to take it personally and you’re going to be guilt-tripped until Christmas 2013. I know all of these things, and because I am empathetic and kind, I promise – I will not make you listen to or watch any more holiday-themed videos than absolutely necessary.

Howeverrrrrr, sometimes you see a video, and it has your favorite 90s pop icon, and your favorite terrible SNL star, and your favorite late-night band playing mini-instruments, AND SERIOUSLY ADORABLE CHILDREN, and you say CYNICISM BE DAMNED, I WILL SHARE THIS VIDEO.
