Danny Devito and Rhea Perlman Split
Alright ladies, grab your gallon of Ben and Jerry’s and meet me on the couch in 20 where i’ll be lighting candles and listening to Three Dog Night – it’s time to mourn the death of another meant-to-be-Hollywood marriage. First it was Heidi Klum and Seal, then Amy Poehler and Will Arnett, and now our favorite troll foot and his lady. That’s right, Danny Devito and his wife of 30 YEARS, Rhea Perlman, have split, say sources.
Like Heidi and Seal and Amy and Will, the two have collaborated on professional projects, from the TV show Taxi to this children’s movie Matilda (which I will be watching this evening with the aforementioned gallon of B&J’s).The couple, who met in 1970 after Devito’s performance in the Broadway play “The Shrinking Bride,” have three adult children together, but according to sources, that didn’t stop his womanizing ways – HuffPo reports that the split may have been a product of the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star’s wandering eye.
RIP, only Hollywood couple I believed in. R-I-mothereffing-P.
