Ochocinco Refuses to Sign Divorce Papers
Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson must be getting tired of getting kicked off teams, huh? First the Miami Dolphins drop him from the roster, then VH1 cancels his reality show, and now his estranged wife, Evelyn Lozada (the one he head-butted) is filing for divorce, or should I say, trying to file for divorce.
According to TMZ, Lozada filed for divorce just three days after the alleged beating (which was just 6 weeks into their marriage), but Chad is refusing to sign the papers, desperate to keep her in his life. He even tattooed her face on his leg as some sort of creepy, poorly-thought-out attempt to win her back.
Fortunately for Evelyn, Florida law states that a judge can still sign off on the divorce, even if Ocho continues to act like an angry toddler whose mom said he couldn’t get a new Lego set.
