Brazilian Man Forced to Watch Porn Wins $25,000 from Ambev
If your company’s “manager incentive” program involved watching porn and attending prostitute parties, you might think you had died and gone to heaven. Not so much for one Brazilian employee of beverage company Ambev – the Latin American unit of Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world’s largest beer brewer.
According to the Huffington Post, the Brazilian man is set to receive $25,000 from the company after claiming he was harassed, bullied, and at times even physically forced to take part in the company’s alarmingly sexual manager incentive programs, including 10 separate “prostitute parties” between 2003 and 2004. The man, who says he is a “married Evangelical Christian,” even says he was once “tied up at work and forced to watch pornographic films and a stripper performed in his office.”
Not unlike the Polish Durex marketing from earlier, we’re amazed at the openness with sexuality of other countries… even if in this case it was clearly WAY over the line. But dude – Brazilian strippers and prostitutes? As a WORK INCENTIVE? Sign me UP.
