Is It Going to Rain At Coachella This Weekend?
For those of us who have been religiously checking the weather for Indio, CA, the venue for the Coachella Valley Music Festival this weekend, some interesting and curious info has arrived: it might rain on Friday. Now, for some, the news comes as an absolute disaster… they love the festival for its scorching temps and views of women wearing pasties and thong bathing suits. For others, such as myself, it is welcome and exciting, because they don’t enjoy the feeling of their eyeballs melting into their head.
However, it does change the dynamic of the festival – while normally Coachella nights are a balmy 65 degrees, this year we may experience as low as mid-to-low 50s. So, what are our Coachella tips for an unexpected weekend of cooler weather? Well, let’s add to our CoaCHECKLIST, shall we?
* Something waterproof: a poncho, windbreaker, or rain coat would be a good idea.
* Boots or other waterproof shoes
* A couple of towels, for drying off and laying clothes out to dry
* A tarp for placing under and over your tent to ensure no rain leakage seeps into your sleeping/ sexing place.
* Sweatshirt with a hood
* Clothes you don’t mind getting muddy, because there WILL be a rainstorm dance party
* Waterproof camera to document a history-making Coachella (it’s never rained before at the festival, according to LA Weekly)
