Tiger Woods is Back
After nearly three years battling to save his reputation, Tiger Woods proved he’s still a champion with his win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Florida yesterday, pulling ahead of the pack and his partner Graeme McDowell, winning his first PGA tournament since the infidelity scandal that rocked the world in 2009.
We all remember where we were when the golf sensation got caught in an altercation with his wife outside their home, and the following weeks which saw his personal life unravel with the news that he had mistresses all over the country, ranging from nightclub hostesses to porn stars. When he finally shelled out the $750 million dollars to his now ex-wife Elin signifying the divorce, we wondered if he’d ever return to the shining star he once was.
Needless to say, our questions have been answered, because Tiger Woods has, in fact, STILL GOT IT. Despite his former swing coach releasing a tell-all book that paints Woods in a less than favorable light (he wouldn’t share pizza? Yeah, that’s literally a complaint from the book.), we’re glad to see Tiger leaving his string of bad luck behind and finally being recognized for his craft – being an incredible golfer.
Congrats on the win, Tiger – see you at the Masters!
