I’ve long given up on the Academy Awards, what about you? I mean, I generally use the nominations as a short list of movies I should go see in the coming year (and by “go see” I mean Netflix months after they come out on DVD), but other than that, I’ve come to the conclusion that the awards ceremony is just one big awkward mess of narcissistic celebrities failing at looking humble.

This past Sunday, though, there was ONE highlight of the night, although it had nothing to do with the show, and everything to do with Jimmy Kimmel’s connections. His fake trailer for a movie called “Movie: The Movie” perfectly captured everything we love (and hate) about big motion pictures these days. Check it out:
