As if the whiny, nasally, migraine-inducing voice wasn’t enough, Nicki Minaj chooses to pollute our EYES now, as well as our ears, with her over-the-top costumes and hair and makeup that makes her look like a playing piece from a nightmarish version of Candy Land. Hey, I give the girl credit for making some pretty fab rhymes, but not even the world’s best lyrical genius can save the fact that she’s clearly trying WAY. TOO. HARD.

No offense, Nicki, but the whole hip-hop, Playskool version of Lady Gaga thing just ain’t my style.
