I’m not saying actors should never try out other forms of art or pursue other dreams, it’s just that it’s much less embarrassing to watch someone fail miserably when you’ve never heard of them before. Watching “Driis,” or Idris Elba from one of the best shows ever (The Wire – watch that thing) sing about VAGINAS with no auto-tune or nothin is WAY more awkward then watching a bad audition for American Idol because I just picture him lounging in his English mansion saying, “you know what ELSE I’d be GREAT at? Vagina songs. Let’s do it.”
