Religion is a tough subject for me. On one hand, I would love to have faith that someone more powerful than myself is in control. The thought that I and everyone else in the world are created in the image of an all-knowing being is sort of comforting, you know? And believing that we should all love one another and take care of each other and be good so that we may spend eternity in paradise? Of course that sounds great. But on the other hand, I am a logical human, and I believe in evolution, and I have studied many religions in my search for the truth and honestly none of them seemed all that far off from a story in a book that is nice to think about, but isn’t something to be taken literally or believed as solid, incontrovertible truth.
