Most of us, growing up, had an incident where our parents went nutso on us. Maybe it was the time we “borrowed” their car to drive to the mall without a license. Maybe it was that one prom where we turned off our phone and didn’t come home. Or maybe it was the time we came home with a C+ in Chemistry. Some parents are different than others. However, looking back on these incidents we often think, you know, parents have it tough. The stress that goes into raising a child can’t be held in forever. I understand the momentary freak out.

On the other hand, we would like to think that in said momentary freak out, our parents wouldn’t tell us we’d been disowned and that our mother was a whore. Unfortunately, rapper 50 Cent was caught doing just that when a text conversation between him and his son was released to Radar Online yesterday.

Here are just a few of the cray-cray texts this dad sent to his son, 16-year-old Marquise:

Can I get a “YIKES”? Although I admit I hope I never have to communicate with my future children via text message (I’m sure each individual “LOL” made 50 want to strangle his teenager), there has to be a reasonable amount of maturity and calm when dealing with your own child. They might be selfish and stupid and rude and disrespectful but fact of the matter is, you may have had a hand in making them that way.

You know, like by Tweeting “I’m not in jail I’m by my waterfall.” Yeesh.
