.50 Caliber William Tell
It was recently learned that certain human beings are actually genetically predisposed to seek thrill. Research has shown that their brain’s propensity for the effects of dopamine is much higher, which is why they enjoy bungee jumping and sky-diving and swimming with murderous-dinosaur-dragons sharks more than the rest of us.
Usually, I envy them. I wish that I was a risk-taker who loved a thrill, but I instead spend about 30 seconds before every elevator ride praying to the God of Hydraulics that I don’t die plummeting to the earth while simultaneously vomiting and peeing my pants.
However, I am somewhat glad I never get to a point where my adrenaline level is so low that in order to get a high I have to have my friend shoot a watermelon off my head with a military-grade sniper rifle from 200 yards away.
